Hi, I'm Solveil

I'm glad you're here :)

Since childhood, cameras have held a fascination over me that has never faded. On every family trip, I would take my father’s camera and, with clicks that were sometimes hesitant but always full of wonder, capture fragments of the world without any logic other than curiosity. What began as a pastime slowly took root and grew into a true passion.

In college, a photography class reignited that spark. I discovered the foundations of manual shooting — the art of freezing light and seizing a moment with intention. Then, at the beginning of the pandemic, buying my first camera became a turning point. With few places to go, I would often drive aimlessly, camera in hand, capturing the quiet stillness of nature.

Since then, my eye — and my style — have evolved, especially over the past years with my Fujifilm, whose tones perfectly align with my vision. I’m drawn to natural light, soft contrasts, and a gentle color palette that infuses all of my work. Through every image, I aim to capture an atmosphere and create memories imbued with light and poetry.

Today, my focus is increasingly drawn to design and architecture photography — worlds where composition, texture, and light engage in dialogue with structure. I’m fascinated by the way spaces come alive, how materials breathe, and how light tells their story.

That said, I remain deeply inspired by the variety of projects that continue to shape my artistic vision: portraits, hospitality, retreats, events, and other creative collaborations. Each context invites me to observe differently — to translate emotion, intention, and presence into a visual language.

My approach sits at the intersection of art and documentary sensitivity: a poetic exploration where every image becomes an extension of a place, a moment, or the human essence it reflects.
